In 2021, Southwest Jiaotong University will celebrate its 125th birthday. On April 16th, the 121st Sports Meeting and 125th Anniversary Sports Meeting of Southwest Jiaotong University opened smoothly in the North District Stadium of Xipu Campus. At 8:30 in the morning, the opening ceremony of the Sports officially began amid the enthusiastic cheers of the students on the stage. The school flag escort, the professional phalanx and other unit phalanx entered the venue in turn. Their steps were uniform and powerful, showing the youthful vitality to all audiences.

The phalanx of SEM was in the fifth . The number of teachers and students of our school is the largest in any previous sports meeting. Since the establishment of the MBA and EMBA programs for more than ten years, it has trained a large number of economic management talents for my country's railway bureaus, various engineering units, enterprises and institutions, and contributed to the national economic construction. This years, the MBA and EMBA alumni of SEM also attended the opening ceremony admission ceremony.

After two days of fierce competition, the teachers, students and alumni of SEM made great achievements in the sports field! It shows the sportsmanship of sunshine, health, striving for progress, and the pursuit of excellence. Zhou Chuanyin won the fourth place in the women's 100 meters in the student group A, Chen Yunwu won the first place in the men's shot put in the student group A, Pan Hao won the fifth place in the men's 1000 meters in the student group A, and Ma Haimayun, Zeng Wenqing, and Xu Jing won the third, the sixth and the eigth place in the women's 800 meters in the student group A. In the team competition, our school won the fourth place in the student group A women's 4*100m, the second place in the student group A 10*50m mixed relay, and the eighth place in the student group A men's 4*400m relay. MBA alumni Ma Ji won the second place in the 100 meters and the first place in the 4x100 meters, and Tang Zhonghui won the fourth place in the 400 meters.
