About the Lecturer:
Nengmin Wang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Xi'an Jiaotong University. He is the Tianshan Scholar Professor (2019), Adjunct Professor of Kunming University of Science and Technology (2020), the First Haier Rain Forest Scholar (2020), the Assistant President of Kunming University of Science and Technology (2019.1 -2019.12); the General Secretary of the Sustainable Operation and Management System Branch of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering, the Vice-Chairman of the Higher Education Management Branch of the Chinese Society of Optimal Methodology and Economic Mathematics, the Director of the Chinese Management Modernization Research Association, and the Vice-Chairman of the Youth Work Committee, the Editorial Review Board Member of of IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, the Editorial Board Member of Industrial Management and Data Systems (IMDS), the Editorial Board Member of Journal of System Engineering and Journal of Xi’an Jiaotong University, the Director of Shanxi Manufacturing Service Industry Process Mining Engineering Research Center.
He has long been engaged in the teaching and scientific research of supply chain management and operation management. The course of "Modern Logistics and Supply Chain Management" taught by him was selected as the Shanxi Provincial Excellent Online Course, and his course of "Operation Management" was selected as Ideological and Political Demonstration Course in the Shanxi Province. As the project leader, he has undertaken 7 national-level projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Soft Science Project, and the Cai Yuanpei Sino-French Cooperation Project, among which 1 major project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (2021.1-2025.12), the National Natural Science Foundation of China 1 project group project (2018.1~2022.12). He has published more than 50 articles in mainstream international journals such as IEEE TITS, IEEE TEM, EJOR, and 3 monographs in Tsinghua University Press.
